General Manager of the Teatro Real since April 2012 and member of the governing bodies of the institution. Vice-president of the Association of Opera Theaters of Spain, member of the board of directors of Opera Latioamerica and since April 23, 2019 member of the board of directors of Opera Europe.

He belongs to the Higher Body of Civil Administrators of the State since 1995. He holds a law degree from the University of Zaragoza and studies in Political Science and Sociology from the UNED. He holds a Master's degree in public policy from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Master's degree in public leadership from the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. In 2003 their Majesties the Kings granted to him the Commendation to the Civil Merit.

During his professional career, he has held the positions of Technician in public investments in the Ministry of Public Works; Deputy Secretary-General of the Government Delegation in Madrid; Director of Media Coordination in Patrimonio Nacional, Ministry of the Presidency; And General Secretary of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. He also has extensive experience in teaching at Universidad Carlos III, Universidad Complutense and Autónoma of Madrid.
