CHEN Zuohuang, Conductor

Over the past 30 years, Maestro CHEN Zuohuang had been Music Director or Artistic Director in eight orchestras in China, the U.S., Mexico and South Korea. He is the founding member of China National Symphony Orchestra, China NCPA Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra and Guiyang Symphony Orchestra. He has also led over ten tours in Asia, Europe and North America with orchestras from China, Germany, Hungary and South Korea.

Maestro CHEN is China's first recipient of a Doctor of Musicl Arts Degree in Conducting.

He served as Artistic Director of China's National Centre for the Performing Arts in its first decade.
