His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said established the Royal Opera House Muscat eight years ago in 2011 for the people of Oman and for all of humanity. With a continuing focus on diversity in genre and innovative artistry in performances, the Royal Opera House Muscat now presents productions come from varied high calibre performing arts companies in more than thirty countries in the Arab World, the Middle East, and across five continents: Europe, Asia, North America, South America and Africa. Importantly, Arab programs constitute 30% of annual programming.
