  Founded in 1928 by Alexander Vasilyevich Alexandrov, a talented conductor and the composer of the National Anthem of the former Soviet Union, the Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the Russian Army named after A.V. Alexandrov has a glorious history of more than 90 years and is widely recognized as the oldest, largest and most prestigious military song and dance art ensemble of the top rank in Russia. It has twice won the "Order of the Red Banner", the highest honor of the Soviet, and won the Gold Medal in World Expo, Paris. It is one of Russia's most important culture cards and the most treasured military song and dance ensemble truly displaying the dazzling essence of Russia’s national art. It has performed in more than 100 countries and regions in the world and is the only top foreign art ensemble that has been cordially received and praised by four generations of Chinese leaders.
