Located in Baku, Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre is one of the oldest opera houses in the region. In the century-long history, it is committed to producing and staging a series of original and classic operas, ballets, concerts and other works. Here we presents two premiere works from the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, including the Ballet Nizami, which is specially created to be dedicated to the 880th anniversary of the birth of Azerbaijani thinker poet and humanist Nizami Ganjavi, and the world classic opera Tosca.
