The Art Explora Foundation has today awarded the Art Explora - Académie Des Beaux - Arts European Award 2022 to the Carroza del Teatro Real, a project that has been recognized as “an opera that travels to connect audiences around Spain”.
  
  

  
   Created in 2020, the Carroza del Teatro Real is a mobile stage which travels all over Spain offering different kinds of shows and concerts. Measuring 16 meters long and 5.80 meters high, it simulates a theater stage – with its embouchure, curtains and backstage – and has been built on a converted trailer truck like those usually used for the transport and storage of the scenery, props and costumes for operas.
  
  The Carroza del Teatro Real has traveled in recent months to Madrid, Valladolid, Ceuta, Málaga, Alcalá de Henares and Zaragoza, with performances by singers and pianists who have participated in the CRESCENDO Programme created by the Fundación Amigos del Teatro Real.
  
  The next departure of the Carroza del Teatro Real is scheduled during the celebration of the Christmas holidays, and is integrated into the Parade of the Magi in Madrid on January 5th.
